About the artist (her words): "My name is Nelia Vasylenko and I am Ukrainian, now I live in Malta.
From time to time people ask me - how do you learn? Where do you get time and mood? And I recently thought... and remembered how I went to the first painting class.. and you know what? I fell in love with the smell of oil, this is some kind of aroma of indescribable delight, this is the aroma of inspiration. I see brushes and an easel and immerse myself in my inner world. And I think that at this moment there is an accumulation of energy.
I’m unlikely to learn how to draw like Leonardo, but this is a good way to fight and deal with stress. "(C)
