© The "Culture" of Competition
I'm just sitting home and watching a video where a man is blaming others for their opinions. Why? Is this really necessary? Leave them be and focus on your own stuff.
And together with this, thinking about our "culture" of competition.
Why do we need to chase always anything? Why do we need always last car, phone or I don't know hat else models. Why do we need to compare our bodies or houses to others? What does it bring?
Usually, when I buy something which is my desire, after a few weeks, it becomes just an ordinary thing and I think, was it really important to get it? Does it have any use?
We work long hours, spending time stressing about things which are not important at all and after we go and throw this all away buying new shiny stuff. Why? To prove someone we are worth enough or better? Ouf course we are enough as we are.
And about real values like family, health, peace of mind or just listening birds singing?
We call these as little thing nowadays because we are "drunk" by perfect marketing world which doesn't exist at all. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean I'm not gonna have a shower or not using an antiperspirant. But don'T you sometimes think, it could be better to get back to the primitive? Just simple life? :)
